Zita Rock Festival
If you think I did nothing lately you’re so wrong! First I would like to share some new links you can click and read my NCN reports and also view all the pictures I’ve done last September in Deutzen.
Here are 3 links to my NCN report on Music Photocalypse portal:
And here’s the NCN gallery:
The same pictures can be also found on my web-site in the gallery section, so you choose where to take a look at them.
Last 2 months I was busy building my new web-project and it’s already has some decent look, though I still work on it and the content isn’t ready in any way. The web-site’s called Igralog and it will have a lot of quest solutions for World Of Warcraft players, all in Russian. I know there are a lot of such web-sites, but they all in English and honestly even those English web-sites are not so good. The information they provide is often outdated (big time!), so I think it will be popular once it’s ready… and I don’t think it will be ready earlier than in August-September 2012… Too much work taking into account I do it all by myself and trying to write my solutions very concrete and interesting to read. There’s no way I can make more than 5 solutions a day and sometimes I can’t even do those 5, because I have a lot of other work to do. So I’d better say it’s over when it’s over. You can still look at the first rough sketch I have (it’s clickable by the way) :)
At the very same time I have another of my projects in works and it will be all in English. I can’t say much about it now, but it will be dedicated to you all festival-lovers out there and I believe it will be awesome! I hope so, there’s also very much work left to do.
KissRussia.net is doing great and I still work on it. The latest addition was a KISS blog I’m trying to make financially successful. I also got my first good promo-sponsor, it’s company selling the concert tickets and they bought a place for their banner on KissRussia.net. So far so good and it will be much better!
Regarding the pictures… well, if I have time I’m going to start editing my shots from Zita Rock Festival. But I wouldn’t expect them too soon :)
I know I’m very very late with them and I really doubt I’ll publish any of them till Christmas. It’s not about me being busy with my day-job, it’s just about my camera or lenses getting crazy… I’ve never had any problem with them, but it looks like all the WGT pictures are damaged, the colors are corrupted… Don’t know where’s the problem, may be it’s because of the lens, may be… don’t know what. Now I’m trying to figure out what happened, but even if I’ll find the problem it won’t help my WGT and Zita pictures to get any better. So… stay tuned. That’s all I can say for now, sorry.
Alright, I’m back from Zita Rock Festival, slept well and finally ready to go back to normal life :) Zita Rock was a blast like usual and even the rain couldn’t spoil it!
Just in case you don’t know what it is – Zita is an ancient stronghold in Spandau, Berlin, a historical object, where many big concerts and festivals take part. Zita Rock Festival is one of them, it’s a nice 2-days festival where mostly only stars of the dark scene perform: OOMPH!, PROJECT PITCHFORK, BLUTENGEL, UNHEILIG and many others. This year’s Zita Rock was packed with a brilliant line-up (QNTAL, MONO INC, PROJECT PITCHFORK, BLUTENGEL, SAMSAS TRAUM etc.) and headlined by EISBRECHER and APOCALYPTICA, so I really couldn’t miss it. I haven’t been here since 2009 and must say the festival really inproved in organisation, there were no more life-long lines for food and drinks in this year :) If you ask me, the performances of QNTAL, MONO INC and SAMSAS TRAUM were the most inspiring musically and visually (just my own taste). The debut of Teufel’s solo project was also great, but I really couldn’t find too many differences from TANZWUT. It was also very cool to see EISBRECHER in such a great form!
A giant THANK YOU to the Zita Rock Festival management and RIP Magazine for my accreditation!
So… let’s get back to work and picture-processing :)
The subject tells it all, I just finished a giant 5-days mega-shooting at Wave Gotik Treffen XX in Leipzig, getting ready for Zita Rock Festival in Berlin this Saturday and trying to work in between. Two prjects in work + I try to paint something in CorelDraw for the stocks every day. Plus I want to write my second manual soon. Plus I need to start processing the pictures. And the most annoying moment is I still have only 24 hours in the day!
Today I was confirmed for Zita Rock Festival in Berlin, so there must be the very interesting 2 weeks for me in June: Wave Gotik Treffen and then in a couple of days – Zita Rock! With APOCALYPTICA as the headliner by the way! I’m also looking forward to shoot QNTAL (a big open-air stage, day-time!), BLUTENGEL, SAMSAS TRAUM and of course MONO INC. Great, great, great!
Speaking about WGT, I was quite disappointed when I found out TERMINAL CHOICE couldn’t be a part of the festival anymore. One more great and nice-looking band left the WGT line-up a little earlier and it was SPECTRA*PARIS and that was also very sad. Well… at least we still have FIELDS OF NEPHILIM, DAS ICH, UMBRA ET IMAGO and many others.
