Today is a big day because I officially joined the Hamburg-based band called Das Letzte Lager as the live bass player. The band plays death metal (with probably some stoner metal vibes) with the German lyrics. We're already hard at rehearsals...
Very cool stuff if you ask me, with big riffs, exactly what I like in this kind of music. I mean there are thousands of black/death metal bands I wouldn't be able to tell apart even if my life depended on it. And there are such acts as Dark Throne or Immortal (same for Abbath): you listen to their songs and they stay inside you, you remember them and even mumble the choruses while taking a shower :) Das Letzte Lager seems exactly this kind of band to me: you hear their songs and you remember them. Anyway, the first gigs must happen in the beginning of 2022 and the debut album called "WürgeEngel" is already recorded and hopefully will be released soon (it was recorded before I joined the band).
Let's wait and see. Unfortunately, that also means I won't be able to do my usual covers as frequently as I used to but I'll try to release a cover once in 2 weeks at least. That sounds doable.
