Let's hit one of the best songs of one of the best thrash metal bands in this part of the universe – Slayer! I love many albums by those guys, but “Seasons In The Abyss” (1990) is probably my most favorite since Tom, Kerry, Leff and Dave have surely gone a dozen of extra miles here to create not just another Slayer album, but a freaking masterpiece. The title track “Seasons In The Abyss” is a very smart one, slow intro goes straight into the classic fast thrash metal guitar massacre and then finally slows down for an epic outro. Also, I love how Tom Araya's voices (!) sound in the choruses, like a few demonic voices coming together in a dark dissonance.
Speaking about the bass line it's not really difficult, but needs some practice. The part before the first verse can be a great warm-up exercise for your fingers. Enjoy :)
