In 1996 I doubt there was anyone cooler in rock music than Marilyn Manson. I was obsessed with him and his band back then... “Apple Of Sodom” was never a part of an album because it was recorded especially to be included in the soundtrack to David Lynch's “Lost Highway” movie.
The song is simple, even minimalistic, yet absolutely mesmerizing, stunning and hypnotizing, especially if you watch the live version taken from Manson's “Dead To The World” video on YouTube. You just have to find the right mood to play it ;)
