I used to like the early experimental Atrocity very much, back when the band mixed thrash metal with doom and electronics, one time even in collaboration with the German dark goth icon Das Ich. “Love Is Dead” was the first Atrocity video I saw many years ago, and the song still has a very special place in my heart.
For the cover, I chose the short version of the song they used for the official video because the album version was longer than 7 minutes and had the chorus repeated again and again for at least 3 of them. There are other little differences between these versions, but I thought it would be better to do the shorter one.
