I used to be a huge Mötley Crüe fan up until (and including) “Dr. Feelgood” album, but then something went terribly wrong with the band. I don't care about the image issues, or the fact that Vince lost his voice, or even the fact that Nikki Sixx seemed to be wiggling his hands to the pre-recorded bass tracks. However, I do care when a band can't write a single decent song for so long... that's a problem. There was a glimmer of hope when “New Tattoo” came out, but it was gone quickly. It was just sad.
Anyway, I really wanted to play some Crue, but let's be honest, YouTube is full of covers of any of their songs :) So I just picked one song that suits my mood right now – "Hooligan's Holiday" from the 1994 album recorded with John Corabi on vocals. I inspected a few tabs online and, frankly, I didn't find them accurate enough. No matter what they played live, because obviously, they didn't play this song note for note. So, I just went through the whole song, and this is what I think is pretty close to what (I guess) Sixx played on the record. Not 100%, of course, but you know what I mean. I hope you find it decent. Please make sure you use this crazy low tuning, too.
